SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Admissions & Marketing Coordinator takes leadership in admissions, enrollment, and reenrollment, and in marketing and communications to increase awareness of Affinity and its facilities in the community. The Admissions & Marketing Coordinator is a member of the administrative team, reporting directly to the owner. This position is scheduled to work a full-time minimum of 32-40 hours per week. The Admissions & Marketing Coordinator agrees to devote his/her full time and attention during normal working hours to their duties as the Admissions & Marketing Coordinator of the company. The Admissions & Marketing Coordinator will perform their duties subject to the general supervision and direction of the owner. The Admissions & Marketing Coordinator shall abide by all rules and policies of the company, and carry out the companies mission: Our mission is to create a comfortable homelike environment while still recognizing and incorporating medical needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Admissions
- Collaborate with DON at the facilities to ensure fiscally sound admissions, objectives, developing and implementing strategies for admissions, facility placement, and retention
- Track and follow up on inquiries and admissions, and carry out standards and procedures for admissions and discharges through use of database or other automated tools
- Coordinate with the Admissions Management Team to review data and recommend policies that help with admissions
- Provide monthly updates to DON's to enable reporting to the owner on admissions.
Marketing/Communications
- Carry out the companies marketing plan, with collaboration owner in support of the facilities and its targeted initiatives
- Produce marketing materials, advertisements and publications that increase the company and its facilities public image and promote the company mission
- Remain abreast of effective marketing concepts and techniques that apply to independent facilities
- Manage, provide content, and update all the facilites websites, collaborating with the owner for any technical needs
- Manage Affinity and its facilities presence and image on various social media sites, either directly or through contracted services and/or volunteers
- Coordinate with external press for any newsworthy items or press releases
- Assist with fundraising and other development campaigns as directed by the owner
- Serve as the staff liaison/coordinator for facility related community building and fundraising events throughout the year
- Demonstrate respect and kindness to all members of the Affinity community
- Be a visible, active, and engaged member of the Affinity community by supporting and attending facility functions, as well as required in-service days and any special meetings requested by the owner
- Perform other duties as assigned by the owner

- Possesses strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office, G Suite (Google); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, JotForm or related tools a plus
- Maintains confidentiality including following HPPA and uses direct communication to resolve conflicts
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- BA/BS in a field related to the position, such as marketing or communications, desired • Experience in long term care setting preferred but not required
- Must enjoy working with and around diverse population
- Must successfully clear background checks and have the ability and willingness to obtain Covid shot as required by CMS
