SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This position is the main point of customer contact for the Accident Management department. This position provides customer service by answering emails and handling telephone calls from customer drivers and vendors using a pleasant and articulate telephone manner. This position requires multitasking abilities to work in a fast paced enviromnment supporting a variety of services to ensure efficient operation of the office.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Works with vehicle rental companies, and any other third parties necessary to arrange vehicle rentals for customer drivers.
- Reviews vehicle rental billings for accuracy.
- Arranges payment to vehicle rental companies and setup billing to customers by entering billing for these and other EMKAY services into the computer system accurately and efficiently.
- Provides excellent customer support by addressing vehicle rental billing and payments inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assists the department mission with handling first notice loss reports
- Acts as a backup to other department personnel by handling a variety of administrative tasks, coordinating with vendors and customers, and providing exceptional customer support assisting with department telephone calls and emails.
- Maintains vehicle insurance certificate files and monitors the active status of the certificates.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Degree and 1 to 2 years of customer service experience is essential
- Those just starting out in the working world with 2 or 4 year College Degrees are welcome
- Must have good keyboarding skills and proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must learn to work with the EMKAY network software
- Previous experience in order entry or data entry is preferred
