Administrative Specialist II – WIC program

Monday – Friday from 8am to 4:30pm

Rate of Pay - $15.33 an hour

Looking for Bi-lingual individual – English / Spanish

Location: Seaford & Georgetown Delaware

Description of work:

Work involves enrolling eligible participants in the Women, Infants and Children’s program (WIC). The WIC program provides supplemental food, nutrition education and referrals for health & social services to pregnant, post-partum & breast-feeding women, infants & children up to the age 5.

Working closely with nutritionists to determine eligibility of benefits. 

Duties include but not limited to:

·         Answering phones

·         Scheduling appointments

·         Interviewing clients

·         Data Entry

·         Issuing benefits

Qualifications:

·         Knowledge of WIC program

·         Basic computer Skills

·         Data Entry Skills

·         Good communication skills

·         Ability to work on own and with others

·         Spanish speaking a plus
