Administrative Specialist II WIC program
Location: Georgetown, DE
Schedule: Monday Friday from 8am to 4:30pm
Rate of Pay: $15.33 an hour
Looking for Bi-lingual individual English / Spanish or Haitian -Creole
Description of work:
Work involves enrolling eligible participants in the Women, Infants and Children's program (WIC). The WIC program provides supplemental food, nutrition education and referrals for health & social services to pregnant, post-partum & breast-feeding women, infants & children up to the age 5.
Working closely with nutritionists to determine eligibility of benefits.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Interviewing clients
- Data Entry
- Issuing benefits
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of WIC program
- Basic computer Skills
- Data Entry Skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work on own and with others
- Spanish speaking a plus
