Administrative Sales Assistant
Cape Cod Fence Co. in Canton, CT, a family-owned company for over six decades, is looking for a talented and dynamic sales professional to join our team in the role of Administrative Sales Assistant who will play a key role as a coordinator for our sales team.
We are a high-volume fence company with a reputation for excellence and top-quality work with wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain link fencing, playsets, and sheds. If you’re a sales professional who is looking for a stable place to excel, we should be talking.
The ideal candidate for Administrative Sales Assistant will work with the sales team by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Administrative Sales Assistant Responsibilities:
-Prepare comprehensive project estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs and prepare and maintain paperwork and computer files for customer estimates in coordination with sales team members.
-Work with in-store customers in coordination with sales team to identify types and styles of fencing, playsets, and sheds.
-Follow up with customers on sales quotes and proposals while assisting in closing deals.
-Maintain communication with customers before, during, and after installation of fencing, playsets, and sheds.
-Assist in-store team with maintaining inventory of marketing supplies and ensure ongoing communications with marketing department to maintain all needed sales collateral.
-Assist in processing and management of sales orders and customer database.
-Collaborate with sales team and General Manager on various projects.
Administrative Sales Assistant Skills/Qualifications:
-Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
-Must have good attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Able to work independently and well under pressure with an appropriate sense of urgency.
-Ability to follow oral and written directions, operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to computers, telephone systems, copiers.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
