Akachi LLC is looking for an personable and efficient administrative assistant to assist with day-to-day administrative duties, Very Important: You must be proficient in Job Access With Speech (JAWS) and Pearl Open Book software. As a contract employee, you'll be primarily entering progress notes data from both group and individual counseling sessions at Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL in the Chicago area. The normal workweek will be 30 hours per week. The normal duty hours shall be between 8:00AM – 4:30PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist with minor office organization and filing.
- Answer phones and record messages.
- Assist with compiling information, presentations or fliers as needed.
- Perform administrative duties as assigned.
- Read information aloud.
General Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Proficient in the use of commercial software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Computer literate, have general familiarity with a desktop computer and the ability to learn and understand how to enter progress notes into patient records.
- Proficient in Job Access With Speech (JAWS) and Pearl Open Book software.
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Must pass background/security investigation.
