The AstraZeneca Mt. Vernon site was established in 1972 and is the flagship site delivering innovative, life changing oral solid medicines. At the site we formulate and pack OSD tablets and capsules for over 60+ markets. The Mt Vernon site is complex, the largest AZ production site in the US with over 700+ employees. We are located in the southwest corner of the state of Indiana, approximately 15 miles from Evansville, Indiana - the third largest city in the state. The Mt. Are you ready to make a bigger impact on patients? As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative support to the Sr. Director and other members of the Department Staff. This role is a critical part of our mission to put our patients first.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will maintain good working relationships with counterparts (international, internal, and external customers) to meet the requirements of the business and ensure a desirable flow of information. You will handle day-to-day service and administrative functions autonomously, conduct calendar & meeting management, provide technical & computer programs support, and manage site communications. You will also be involved in recruitment process support, domestic and international travel arrangements for departmental staff, procurement cards administration, and much more!
Essential Skills/Experience:
- HS Diploma and 3 - 5 years of secretarial/clerical experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with operations of the Site and ability to understand and interrelate the activities of the group
- Knowledge of cGMP's
- Knowledge of site Human Resources policies and procedures
- Ability to resolve problems independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to handle confidential information and possess good interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Visio, Kronos, MySAP, ezBuy, AZER, Plateau, and travel applications
