We are seeking a professional like you to join our team as an Administrative Associate!
As an Administrative Associate will support the BASF NA Soybean Breeding function by assisting with the initiation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions, CapEx projects, invoicing, expense reports, and other procurement responsibilities as requested by management; assisting with key organizational, record keeping, and training aspects of BASF Safety & Stewardship programs; preparation of sites for audits; and Operational Excellence projects.
Additional duties include assisting with the organization, planning, and execution of travel, meetings, and conferences for BASF NA Soybean Breeding efforts as well as assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process of new hires.
During your time as a Administrative Associate you will…
- Procurement activities such as creation of POs, PRs, CapEx, invoices, expense reports, etc.
- Assist with safety, stewardship, and Operational Excellence training and record keeping.
- Assist with preparations of safety and compliance audits.
- Help with the organization, planning, and execution of travel, meetings, conferences, etc.
- Assist with data capture and management of breeding databases.
If you...
- Have an Associates degree in a business related field plus at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in administrative work in a seed/breeding company.
- Experience leading and managing assigned work projects from start to end.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office software.
