Responsibilities
This position will be on-campus at FSU Panama City in Panama City, FL.
- Provides administrative support to the resident and adjunct faculty at the FSU Panama City campus and serve as a main point of contact/receptionist for the Faculty Offices. Administrative support for this position includes (but is not limited to): coordinating communications between departments on campus and faculty; coordinating and providing communications from faculty to students specific to their classes, office hours, or other faculty initiatives; recording minutes and providing support for faculty meetings; engaging in documentation filing and collection for faculty activities (e.g., property audits, syllabi collection, minutes filing, etc.); providing office support to faculty for printing services, scantron grading, and office supply orders; supports faculty for facility requests; assists with budget preparation activities for office supply and other purchase orders; and engages in some HR functions for the support of faculty for time and leave audits.
- Engages in administrative tasks related to FSU’s purchasing and travel processes for all faculty and assists other departments on campus with purchasing and travel that include Dean’s office or faculty-related initiatives; follows policies and procedures for all purchasing processes and conducts reconciliations of monthly expenses.
- Oversees the textbook adoption process for all instructors at the FSU PC campus; ensures compliance with textbook policies; and provides support to faculty for textbooks.
- Provides administrative support to faculty in academic programs for the effective functioning of those programs, including assisting with processing of graduate student appointments, overseeing timesheet processes for graduate students, and other related activities to support the work of faculty and graduate students.
- Serves as a team member for the Faculty Support Department, which includes Faculty and Dean’s office staff. Assists with routine campus events (graduation, fundraisers, etc.) as needed to support faculty and the Support Staff Team.
- Engage in other duties as assigned by supervisor to support faculty and maintain the effective functioning of the faculty support department.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalency and three years of experience; or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to three years.

Anticipated Salary Range
Starting salary is high $30,000's to low $40,000's commensurate with experience.

Considerations
This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
The schedule is Monday – Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
We anticipate this position starting in mid to late March. Review of applicants will begin February 28.
