JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides office and clerical support to the Principal and other Administrative Staff. Composes/prepares correspondence, memos, and reports. Answers phones and greets visitors. Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. Performs other duties as assigned and works on special projects as needed.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: Minimum of high school diploma or GEDMust be proficient with Microsoft Office and office support programs.
SKILLS: Considerable knowledge of business and office practices. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with district employees and the public - in person and over the phone. Self-directed, desire to take initiative, dependable, timeliness and responsible. Treats confidential information and sensitive situations with discretion. Presents a professional image when representing BCSS through word, action, and dress. Physical activities required to perform all job duties.
EXPERIENCE: Previous secretarial experience, preferred.
