The Institutional Student Loan and Scholarship Coordinator is responsible for the data entry of scholarship and Institutional Student Loan (ISL) information and manages several reports as they correspond to these programs. The coordinator works on an individual basis with students and staff to provide information in an accurate, timely, professional, and courteous manner. This position possesses a compassionate and respectful understanding of financially related issues and is sensitive to the level of stress students may experience from these issues. This position reports to the Sr. Associate Director of Institutional Student Financial Aid.
Essential Functions
- In collaboration with the admissions scholarship team, responsible in ensuring all new scholarships are updated and posted in a timely manner
- Posts and reviews clinical student scholarship awards
- Reviews, processes, and documents all McCord Scholarships
- Responsible for Institutional Student Loan processing, posting and updating
- Maintain electronic ISL documents and ensure student files are updated accordingly
- Follows-up with each student and ISFAC missing ISL data/documents
- Maintains ISL reporting and ensures the reporting is accurate
- May process promissory notes and works closely with ECSI as needed
- Manages the Grenadian Additional Benefit program and processing
- Processes and posts all ECP waivers. Creates reporting to ensure ECP waivers align with clinical students in ECP programs
- Creates awards letters for scholarship students and ensures they are supplied to students and posted in OnBase
- Manages ISL Appeals and ensure they are processed in a timely manner
- Provide administrative support along with other tasks as assigned
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least one-year financial aid experience preferred
- Advanced in Excel, and familiar with Office 365 and Banner
Hours and Travel
- A typical work week is 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm
- Flexibility and willingness to work evening hours and weekends in support of peak-time initiatives
- Flexibility to work hours outside of normal business hours to accommodate students throughout various time zones
- Travel as needed to execute key initiatives and deliverables at admissions events, webinars and other student facing settings
The anticipated salary range for Student Loan and Scholarship Coordinator is $42,500 to $50,000. The final salary offered may vary and will be determined based on factors such as the job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education of the successful candidate. This information is provided per NYS local law.
