- Assist supervisor with administration of labor agreements
- Gather information, review, and compile complex files on sensitive/confidential issues
- Facilitate completion of projects and events assigned to subordinate areas
- Assist in the planning, design, development and promotion of special events, goals, objectives, plans, and programs of supervisor's assigned area
- Draft documentation on sensitive/confidential issues
- Serve as staff liaison
- Prepare, process, review, and monitor grant documentation
- Oversee division travel, accounting, payables, contract billing, timekeeping functions and project budgets
- Perform limited analyses and prepares and summarizes moderately complex statistical data
- Take real time or machine dictation
- Write, edit, produce, and distribute informational, publicity, and promotional materials
- Other duties as assigned
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Ability to type 35wpm
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Associates degree with major coursework in secretarial science, administrative assistance or related field
- 2+ years administrative experience
- Ability to type 35wpm
- Demonstrable proficiency in personal computers and relevant software
