Administrative Assistant Position
Looking for a candidate who is interested in part-time work with the possibility of becoming fulltime. This position requires an individual who conducts themselves in a professional manner. They must be a self-starter with good communication, phone, clerical, organization, and computer skills. This position works closely with the Association Executive. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multi-task (utilizing multiple databases) and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties – (but not limited to)
Greeting and assisting customer walk-ins.
Answering and assisting customers who call in.
Assisting members with inquiries and changes with existing membership.
Assisting potential members with information and next steps.
Maintaining membership databases.
Billing/ Payment/ Invoice tracking for membership.
Receiving / Posting / Tracking all cash, check, and credit card transactions.
Tracking and promoting upcoming CE (continuing education) courses for membership.
Maintaining (updating) website.
Posting current events, updates, etc. to company Facebook page.
Creating monthly membership newsletter.
Assisting CCAR CEO with monthly membership meetings (including taking photos at meeting).
Attending and assisting various membership functions outside of the normal scope of hours.
Qualifications and Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Clerical experience with office organization and office equipment (printers, computers, fax, etc.).
Experience with data entry and billing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
Background in Peachtree Accounting Program (Sage) a plus but not required.
Hours
Monday – Friday (11:00-3:00)
Pay Range
$10 - $14 based on experience
