Salary: Salary $22 to $24 per hour, DOE – Full state employee benefits package which includes 11 paid holidays, sick leave, compensatory time for work in excess of a 40-hour week, low-cost downtown parking, and PERSI retirement, plus options for medical/dental insurance, wellness program, 401k, deferred compensation program, and pre-tax flexible spending accounts for qualifying childcare and medical expenses. The office is a qualifying employer for purposes of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).
Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise is a growing city of approximately 240,000 and serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Idaho’s world-famous fly-fishing, biking, skiing, kayaking and hiking are all within close proximity.
Primary Duties: The Administrative Assistant will support the Lead Investigator of the Internet Crimes Against Children (“ICAC”) Unit. Typical duties may include managing files, maintaining budget reports, processing invoices, compiling training materials, and fielding phone and email communications to the office. The Administrative Assistant will also help the ICAC Unit fulfill its responsibility to educate the public through social media and other methods of communication.
Requirements: The successful applicant must have a strong work ethic and be able to:
• Communicate competently and clearly.
• Work with little supervision.
• Remain professional and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate office equipment including computers, scanners, copiers, and printers.
• Use typical Microsoft products such as Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrate familiarity with major social media applications.
This position is not eligible for telework. Normal business hours apply. An associate degree is preferred but not required.
