Job Summary
This position exists to provide mail services, clerical, administrative services and assist with purchasing functions to all divisions of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Examples of job duties are sorting and distributing all incoming mail, maintaining mailroom equipment, prepare outgoing mail, copying and scanning documents, filing documents, data entry, and placing orders for office supplies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to a variety of customers over the phone, in person and via email.
2. Knowledge of communications sufficient to write, prepare, and edit materials, using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence construction.
3. Ability to enter data into established spreadsheets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of data entry procedures and systems, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, or similar data entry systems.
2. Ability to use math sufficient to compare deliveries to invoice statements as well as maintain accurate inventories.
3. Knowledge of financial system programs, such as SWIFT or similar financial system programs.
4. Ability to work cooperatively with individuals from a diverse background.
Physical Requirements
Requires occasionally moving and transporting 50-pound items and frequently moving and transporting objects such as heavy tools and heavy file boxes. This job may require positioning self to move to a significant degree across rough terrain or may involve maintaining a stationary position for extended periods.
