Position Description:
This center focuses on plasticity of the spinal cord and rehabilitation strategies in individuals with spinal cord injury. This position will perform diversified administrative duties in support of the KSCIRC. This position coordinates purchasing, contract processing, invoicing, planning, implementation for all departmental expenditures along with providing administrative assistance to the executive director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform diversified administrative duties in support of the department.
- Provide administrative assistance to the executive director.
- Coordinate purchasing, contract processing, invoicing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all departmental expenditures.
- Prepare and maintain financial and administrative reports. Respond to billing inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner with a high degree of customer service.
- Assist with arranging national and international travel (flights, hotels, transportation) for the department.
- Assist with the coordination, planning, and execution of special unit events for staff and faculty.
- Assist with coordinating meetings, seminars and conferences.
- Review claims and contracts for payment to ensure accuracy.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Target Compensation Maximum: $27.85/hr
Target Compensation Minimum: $18.56/hr
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
