Job Description
Commercial Tool & Die (CTD) is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant. CTD is a family-owned and operated company specializing as a leading manufacturer of plastic injection and die cast molds and through our sister companies, fixtures, special machinery and custom molding, we provide quality service to the automotive, appliance, hardware and toy producing industries. CTD is one of three operational entities under the Commercial Tool Group (CTG) umbrella. The Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative support by carrying out a variety of project management support tasks and administrative tasks, including receptionist duties.
General Responsibilities
- Attend and document production status and design review meetings as needed.
- Answer and transfer incoming calls
- Serve as customer liaison for all processes
- Injection mold sample support and requests
- Customer feedback and line-ups
- ERP (Epicor) data input
- Job travelers/Floor line-ups
- Maintain paper & electronic files
- Quote and meeting documentation as needed
- Purchase order documentation
- Project information sheet documentation
- General document support
- Track progress of tools
- Provide weekly customer activity progress
- Assist Engineering Team with special projects i.e. PowerPoint compilations
- Send meeting notices via Outlook
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Communicate a positive and professional image for CTG in all dealings with customers, suppliers, and any individual or group contacting or visiting the operation.
Qualifications
- Well organized, detail and process oriented
- Resourceful, self-motivated, team player with the ability to coordinate workload independently to complete tasks
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and positive interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with strong time management skills
- 5+ years experience in an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
- Personal computer skills including the use of MS Office Word and Excel
