Health and Beauty Wholesale Distributor located in Deer Park, NY is currently seeking a full-time, in-person Administrative/Office Assistant to join our team. Our company offers a friendly, family-like work environment that is ideal for someone seeking a long-term position.
Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
The job duties for this position include:
- Data entry
- Entering purchase orders, sales orders, etc. into software
- Basic bookkeeping
- Scanning and filing paperwork
- Answering and making phone calls, taking orders over the phone
- Responding to emails
- Offering water, tea, etc. to visiting clients or the President.
- General office related work
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
- Responsibility and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Sage or Quickbooks is a plus but not required (we provide training)
- Prior office experience is also a plus but not required.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.
