We’re looking for an highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role requires someone who loves helping people, has a passion to improve healthcare, and thrives on solving complex situations from start to finish.

Medicare (Federally funded health insurance for individuals who are 65 and over or disabled) can be a nightmare to navigate. Often, individuals have to coordinate with their employer, the federal government, and over 2000+ insurance options across 50 states to get coverage when they retire or turn 65.
Doctor’s Choice helps individuals navigate the maze of Medicare. We work nationally with retirees who are looking to transition their health insurance from their employer coverage to Medicare and beyond. What You’ll Be Doing:
Call Intake:
- Answering and managing incoming calls from clients and prospective clients.
- Collecting relevant information during initial calls to assist in the triage process.
Client Triage
- Efficiently and accurately triaging client inquiries and determining appropriate next steps.
- Providing basic information about Medicare to clients.
Prepare and Submit Paperwork
- Utilizing electronic systems to set up and organize client paperwork.
- Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of electronic documents.
- Managing and sending faxes as needed for document submission and processing.
- Confirming the successful transmission of important paperwork.
Client Advocacy
- Collaborating with insurance carriers and government agencies on behalf of clients.
- Advocating for clients during discussions to ensure their needs are effectively addressed.
Who You Are and Things You’ve Done in the Past:
- Prior experience in admin or customer service role
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Love to grow and solve problems
- Been persistent in accomplishing tasks
Position specifics:
- Full-time remote work, hours 8:30 am - 5:00 pm eastern (may be subject to change on occasion), hourly compensation, benefits include health insurance, life/disability, dental/vision, 401k, HSA.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
