Job Description Summary
The Law and Taxation Department at Bentley University is searching for adjunct instructors to teach several of our MST courses this Fall semester. Depending on the availability of current faculty members, there will be a need for instructors in several of our foundational courses including: Professional Tax Practice; Transactions; and Federal Taxation of Income. Among our elective courses there will be a need for instructors for: Pass-Through Entities and Closely Held Businesses; and International Tax Practice. Our MST courses meet once a week from 5:00 p.m. – 7:20 p.m., or from 7:30 p.m. – 9:50 p.m. Monday through Thursdays. It is expected that the Fall semester will run from September 7th – December 17th 2021. Please see full course descriptions at the Graduate section of the Bentley website. It is further expected that courses for this Fall semester will be offered in the hybrid modality (i.e., faculty and some students in person, and other students attending online).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced degree in Law and or Taxation (or a closely related field)
Three years of professional work experience and previous teaching experience preferred
Must be familiar with Blackboard and Zoom or have a willingness to learn. Bentley University makes training available for both platforms.
