Spring Oak Senior Living is actively seeking a Full Time Tuesday-Saturday Activities Director for our Toms River, NJ location! The Activities Coordinator will plan, direct and execute the activity program for the facility.

Schedule: Full time Tuesday-Saturday

Pay: From $45,000-$50,000 Salary/Bi-Weekly Pay cycle

General Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Develops and coordinates a seven day a week resident centered activity program including spiritual, intergenerational, outside activities, entertainment; with a monthly calendar of planned and formal activities

-Coordinates volunteer programs, resident shopping, beauty shop and outings

-Develops departmental target goals, objectives, and systems and recommends and implements necessary changes

-Manages the procurement, maintenance of all activity supplies and equipment

-Makes an active contribution towards improving community relations, increasing positive public regard and overall awareness of the facility's program

-Works within facility activity budget

-Assists in escorting residents on field trips

-May transport residents in company vehicle

Job Requirements include and are not limited to:

-Must be able to move, lift, carry, bend, squat and kneel throughout the day.

-Must have professional communication with residents, staff, supervisors, and families.

-Must be able to push wheelchairs, walkers, and assist residents with transfers.

-Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Activities Coordinator: 1 year (Preferred)
• Life Enrichment: 1 year (Preferred)
