Our Animal Health Marketing Team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere.

We are seeking a Growth and Improvement minded Digital Animal Health Brand Activation Director that can help drive our Strategic Operating Priorities.

Summary, Focus and Purpose

The Animal Health Digital Brand Activation Director will help craft and create a purpose-built and customer experience driven digital ecosystem to create value for veterinarians, producers, and pet owners, while improving organization digital maturity and driving efficiencies across enterprise. The role will will implement brand values across all species of our Animal Health business, and amplify go-to-market strategies via digital to improve brand resonance with target segments and lead a Team of five plus Digital Specialists to deliver valuable, personalized experiences grounded in meaningful, differentiated brand/product benefits and features. The role is an omnichannel marketer connecting Inside sales, field sales, brands teams, and customers to enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning Communications:

  • Ensure the implementation of digital marketing plans to achieve business objectives, increase market share, and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide clear communications and presentations to the Business unit brand teams, North American Leadership team, and Global Marketing/Digital Activation.

Digital Targeting and Marketing:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies in conjunction with the businesses that include online campaigns, social media presence, and website optimization to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Use industry-leading data and analytics to improve targeting and closing, aligning across the four business units.
  • Coordinate messaging and content development, delivery, and refinement with cross-functional teams.
  • Establish metrics for monitoring and optimizing customer journey and budget efficiency.

Market Intelligence & Research:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform the decision-making process.

Commercial Excellence:

  • Develop commercial expertise across business units and functions, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups.
  • Drive tool implementation to ensure delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Work closely with the respective marketing teams within the organization along with sales, product development, regulatory affairs, customer service, and other cross-functional teams to ensure an omnichannel approach to customer-facing interactions.

Performance Analytics:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize data analytics to measure the success of digital marketing initiatives and demand creation via enhanced targeting.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team.

Required Background & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Technology, business management or related disciplines.
  • 5-8 year’s work experience in digital or digital marketing in Multi-national Corporation
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and challenges in marketing pharmaceuticals
  • Minimum of 5 years of people management experience required

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to successfully partner cross functionally with all business units, regulatory, legal, and with Global Marketing colleagues

Demonstrated computer proficiency including MS Office, Customer Relationship Management and web applications

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Expected salary range:

$159,200.00 - $250,700.00
