This position is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. No weekends.
It offers a hybrid work schedule working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
SouthernCarlson is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our corporate accounting team. This position reports directly to our Assistant Controller and plays an essential role in supporting the financial compliance and information reporting needs of the business as well as contributing to profitability through identification and implementation of cost control strategies.
Areas of Responsibility Include:

• Processing customer payments
• Resolving outstanding payment issues
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist with month end close process
• Special projects as assigned

Essential Qualifications include:

• High School diploma with secondary education preferred
• Two years of experience in handling payment processing
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong familiarity with Excel
• Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter who presents a professional image and attitude
