Job Summary: Supports daily activities of the Finance Department through the timely and accurate processing of resident monthly statements and the statistical tracking of resident census. Provides support services for Chief Financial Officer as needed. Backup for accounts payable for the facility; backup for posting cash receipts; backup for processing all payroll functions bi-weekly for the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Accurately processes and distributes resident and other miscellaneous bills to appropriate parties by the 25th of each month. Scans and emails monthly statements as requested.
- Reconciles Accounts Receivable and takes appropriate action on all past-due accounts.
- Processes final billing for closed accounts on a monthly basis.
- Initiates automatic funds transfer for individual residents as requested.
- Communicates billing information as needed in a timely and accurate manner to appropriate parties. Distribute fee schedule increase notice, and medical deduction letter to all residents and family members on an annual basis.
- Participates in QAPI and Corporate Compliance Committees. Provides Peace Church with information as requested for on-site reviews.
- Requests that all new residents make an appointment to discuss proper insurance procedures and to explain the contract requirements for insurance coverage as required by the community. Meets with all incoming residents as requested by Marketing.
- Reviews insurance plans on behalf of residents and offers resident assistance with obtaining new coverage. Remains up-to-date with all insurance plans.
- Completes all other miscellaneous health insurance billing, including long term care claim submission as requested by residents.
- Answers the phone, maintains Outlook calendar, making copies and distributing resident & Committee information as requested for the Chief Financial Officer.
- Attends Board Finance Committee meetings as scheduled by the Chief Financial Officer and generates meeting minutes.
- Attends Board Subcommittee on Investment Committee meetings as scheduled by the Chief Financial Officer and generates meeting minutes.
