SalaryUnder the direction of the Sr. Accountant the incumbent will efficiently and accurately oversee all phases of Accounts Receivable and assist the accounting team.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Billing and Processing of Accounts Receivable Invoices & Recording Cash Collections
- Verifies and matches against customer orders.
- Posts collections and assumes responsibility for A/R balances on a daily basis.
- Contacts customers on past due invoices and tracks days outstanding
- Sends out monthly statements, monitors the AR mailbox and responds to email requests.
- Reconciles account receivable statements
Deduction Management & Walmart Claims Reporting
- Monitors for deductions and dispute incorrect or duplicate charges
- Works with trade finance on deductions off payments to code and approve
- Monitors for deductions for Walmart and submits claims for deductions
Oversee and complete onboarding of new customers
- Maintains records of new customers
- Ensures compliance with company procedures
- Monitors customers holds and credit limits
- Reconciles account receivable statements
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, etc
- Must be fast paced, dependable, organized, detail oriented and able to work independently.
- Solid knowledge base of accounting processes & procedures.
- Required understanding of EDI & Microsoft Office.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC.
- Preferred familiarity with the Walmart Claims Reporting process.
