As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team.

Job Summary: As an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Sanctuary Medicinals, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions related to customer accounts within the cannabis industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:

* Invoice Processing: Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices to customers for goods and services rendered. * Payment Processing: Record and reconcile customer payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies. * Customer Account Management: Maintain customer accounts, including monitoring credit limits, resolving billing discrepancies, and communicating effectively with customers to address inquiries. * Collections: Proactively follow up on overdue payments and collaborate with internal teams to resolve outstanding issues. * Reporting: Prepare and present regular Accounts Receivable reports, highlighting key metrics and trends. * Compliance: Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and ensure compliance with all financial and accounting standards. * Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, to address customer billing inquiries and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

*Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or experience to match may be considered. *Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role. *Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. *Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations (preferred but not required). *Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Physical Requirements:

*Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. *Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment. *Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds for handling documents and supplies. *Ability to visually focus on a computer screen for long periods. *Must be able to work in an environment with kief in the air.
