The Accounts Receivable Billing Clerkworks in our fast paced-centralized billing operations team at our corporate office. The Accounts Receivable Billing Clerk is responsible for insurance verification, data entry, private billing, insurance claims, collection and follow-up for all payment sources. An ideal candidate would have experience with medical billing in a long term care organization.

Responsibilities
- Enters finalized cash receipts and updates Accounts Receivable ledger by customer.
- Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers.
- Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment.
- Answers Accounts Receivable phone inquiries and follows up.
- Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary for collection and/or in order to update accounts.
- Assists with related special projects as required.
Requirements
- Must have Associate's Degree, preferably in Accounting.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative/office experience is required with emphasis to medical billing.
- Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational and computer skills.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software.
- An ideal candidate would have experience in medical billing, preferably in long term care.
