Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to improve
- Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team
- Accounting degree (preferred, not required)
- Preferred AR experience in automotive dealership
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process daily cash and credit card deposits
- Review and post receipts to appropriate customer account
- Research payment discrepancies and contact customers if necessary to reconcile statement
- Make copies of invoices per customer request
- Answer Accounts Receivable inquiries and follow ups
- Prepares weekly reports of past due accounts.
- Collect documentation from prospective customers to determine credit worthiness
- Make phone calls to past due customers for payment and communicates with the dealership managers on collection of past due accounts.
- Prepare, print, review and mail monthly Accounts Receivable statements to customers
- Print necessary checks for parts returns and account credit balances.
- Assist with special projects as needed
