*Position summary
This position will be an integral part of our accounting department which handles the daily financial functions concerning the operations of the mobile home communities we manage. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this position focuses heavily on the accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities of the department to assist the accounting team in meeting the monthly goals.

*Position Performance Objectives:
- Process rent statements (billing) for assigned properties.
- Review and process invoices per department's schedule including but not limited to live checks and electronic payments.
- Monitor cash balances on General Ledger for assigned properties.
- Support on-site managers for accounting needs and inquiries.

There are also several special projects that are available to the right candidate. This position also has growth potential.
*Physical Requirements:
- Has the ability to work at the corporate office in front of a computer screen/typing approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Has the ability to bend, reach and lift boxes and office supplies up to 30 pounds.
*Experience Requirements:
- AA degree in Accounting (minimum)
- Completion of certified accounting courses
- Minimum of 2 years' similar experience
- Familiar with accounting principles
- Familiar with accounting software such as Rent Manager, Yardi
- Experience in the property management industry is beneficial

Hourly Range: $24 - $27 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, 40 hours per week
Location: Tustin, CA 92780, onsite in corporate office
