Impex Auto Sales, a prominent dealership in Greensboro, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist with exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency that underpins our dealership's success.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Invoice Management: Accurately processes and manages vendor invoices, ensuring all purchases are accounted for and approved to facilitate prompt and precise payments.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Diligently reconciles vendor statements, identifying and rectifying inconsistencies with meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborative Effort: Work closely with the purchasing, receiving, and other related departments to address and resolve any financial discrepancies, showcasing practical communication abilities.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Keep vendor files and records in pristine condition, guaranteeing that all documentation is accurate and readily available.
• Financial Closing Support: Assist with the month-end and year-end financial closing processes, including preparing journal entries and accruals.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: At least two years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within an automotive dealership or a similar fast-paced setting.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in accounting software (preference for DealerTrack and Microsoft Excel).
• Accuracy and Detail-Oriented: A strong focus on precision, with a talent for identifying and correcting errors.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and adhere to deadlines.
• Communication and Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with both vendors and internal teams.
