Job Description
We are seeking an HR generalist with good experience managing Accounts Payable preferably with QuickBooks. Experience in Payroll and all around HR Admin helpful. The qualified individual should understand how to work with QuickBooks for Accounts Payable, record keeping, financial reporting, unemployment, as well as the aforementioned payroll and bookkeeping. You will be responsible for managing HR activities for the organization and other reasonable admin coordinating tasks. Join a fun company and work great hours. Qualified person must be discreet in their work environment. Excellent for the parent with young kids in school as hours may be somewhat flexible with flexibility on school days off.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable / Knowledge of Quick Books
- Employee Onboarding and unemployment
- Payroll
- Implement company culture, values and policies via company Guidelines provided
- Develop workforce strategies, to recruit and develop qualified candidates
- Screening applications/resumes for interviews with management team
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition and dedication
- Advocate for employee retention and development
- Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records
- Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
- Understand labor laws as provided through ADP/State of NJ
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HR, Payroll, book keeping
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Banking
- Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Deadline awareness
