SalaryTwo Six Technologies is growing and we are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager with experience working in the Government Contracting industry. You will supervise a small team and oversee Accounts Payable and primarily be involved in managing Accounting Operations largely composed of A/P transactional preparation, tracking, and system entry.
This position is fully remote with strong preference for candidates living on the East Coast.
What you will do:
- Supervise and oversee Accounts Payable and ensuring accurate and timely financial information
- Process vendor A/P and expense voucher transactions
- Review AP Vouchers ensuring charges are charged to the correct account and adhering to company policy
- Prepare vendor bill payments
- Review vendor payments including bank check, credit card, and ACH payments
- Process company credit card voucher transactions and perform audit reconciliations
- Bank Account and Credit Card reconciliations
- Review employee expenses, vendor invoice (AP) for proper classification and payment
- Review employee travel expense report for proper classification and adhering to F.T.R.
- Assist Accounting staff and Management in the month-end accounting close process
- Review and evaluate reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
Purchasing:
- Support Ariba AP implementation and invoicing processes
- Manage vendor information including evaluation process and account set-up
- Assist in drafting and implementing corporate wide policies for sale tax and use tax
Audit and statutory support:
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial reviews
- Support annual internal and external auditing processes
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years in AP accounting
- 2+ years of AP experience working in a government contracting company
- 5+ years working knowledge of accounting software, such as Unanet or Deltek
- AP experience with purchasing/Pos
- Solid F.T.R. knowledge
- Strong communication skills required
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
