Accounts Payable Manager

Kforce's client, a rapidly growing company is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Rutherford NJ. This is a hands-on role. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will manage the activities of the AP department. Responsibilities: Responsible for managing high volume of invoices Manage staff Ensuring internal controls are in place & observed Continue to improve & automate the AP function Set up authorizations for approvals Support the monthly accounting accrual process Perform account reconciliations, account coding and month end close Manage annual 1099 preparation/distribution Provide external audit support. Bachelor's degree is required 5 years of full life cycle Accounts Payable experience 2 -3 years of experience managing & mentoring staff Experience with automated AP systems and process improvements Experience with multiple entities, divisions, and bank accounts Good Excel skills Strong communication skills ERP system experience Stampli experience is a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
