Form of work Vaco is working with an industry-leading production and distribution company that is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their growing accounting and finance team. This manufacturing industry client is experiencing record-setting growth which is why this newly created role is open.
This person will "wear a lot of hats" in this role and will be performing a lot of analysis with a heavy emphasis on variance analysis. We are looking for someone that has a cost accounting background whether that be with standard costing, job costing, or both, and is familiar with GAAP and has extensive month end close experience.
We are looking for someone that has strong Excel skills and any experience with JD Edwards (JDE) would be highly desirable. Compensation for this role will consist of a base salary in the 85k to 100k range depending on experience and how the interview process plays out, plus a 10% annual bonus.
