Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting and reconciliation, with knowledge of SOX compliance. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits. Duties: - Process ACCOUNTS PAYABLE invoices and ensure accurate coding and entry into the general ledger - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Analyze expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies - Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts - Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update the accounting system as needed - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any payment or invoice issues - Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as requested - Perform other duties as assigned Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in ACCOUNTS PAYABLE or related field - Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and accounting principles - Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements - Proficient in using accounting software such as ADP or Workday - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Previous experience in public accounting is a plus We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
