Accounts Payable And Accounts Receivable Clerk

```Job Overview```
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on managing payables and receivables. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions within the organization.

```Duties```
- Process Accounts Payable invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and timely payment
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare and process Accounts Receivable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers
- Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed

```Experience```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Ceridian, UltiPro, ADP, Workday, or Paychex
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with governmental accounting principles is a plus
- Previous experience in public accounting or working with a large organization is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
