POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a new Distribution Center position involving a 2nd shift position. This is an extremely critical position in the Distribution Operation supporting the overall availability of inventory for stores. The individual will operate as a Replenishment / Put-Away team member performing replenishment product movements from overstock into forward picking locations; fulfills inventory movements for Demand Based Replenishment; picks transfer orders to other DC locations; picks RTV orders; completes put away of product from receiving dock to overstock while operating stock picker (cherry picker) equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities(May include but not limited to the following)
- Operate a Radio Frequency scan gun to scan license plates, SKU’s, Locations, and item descriptions
- Fulfill replenishment movements accurately and productively following designated procedures which may include demand based replenishment to X-type locations
- Operate a cherry picker (stock picker) power equipment
- Put away received items from the dock and distro areas accurately and completely which may include demand based put away to X-type locations
- Assist with the converting of Distro residual units/cases to put away and update the PO status board with the proper status card
- Bulk pick transfer orders to pallet height standards and proper pallet labeling
- Quick view and consolidate cases in the OSL to help maintain inventory organized and accurate
- Properly label cartons, totes as required to identify shipment and product information
- Perform safe operation of warehouse material handling equipment including cherry pickers, Properly maintains said power equipment including proper battery charging and cleaning.
- Identifies inventory discrepancies noted in the performance of duties and works with others to resolve.
- Works as a material handler performing store order picking when not assigned to replenishment team duties
- Maintain ongoing housekeeping and orderliness
- Maintain neat and accurate inventory positions in racks
- Communicate issues and problems on a timely basis to lead / supervisor

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Six (6) months of warehouse experience involving either order picking or cherry picker operation. Material Handler / Order Pickers will be trained to operate power equipment and perform in the role.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Working Conditions
Environment:
The working environments may include warm / cold / dry / damp conditions that will be encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee will be required to work from heights of 20 to 30 feet while secured to equipment. This position will include indoor, outdoor, office and warehouse environments.
Physical Abilities:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to:
- Bend and twist at the waist, stoop, reach, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, kneel or squat while maneuvering boxes, into place for up to 8 to 11 hours per shift
- Lift up to 40 lbs from ground level to above shoulders repeatedly over the course of the shift
- Hear and speak to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
Hazards:
Sprains and Strains, working with material handling equipment to include forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, dollies, pallet jacks and carts.
Special Consideration Given To:
- Applicants with 2 or more years’ experience in Distribution operations in a similar Distribution environment
- Certified power equipment / stock Picker Operator
