Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- CPA license a plus
Work Experiences:
- 7+ years general accounting experience, including month-end closing required
- Supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
- General ledger Oracle experience a plus
- Monthly financials analysis experience required
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) a plus

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and approving journal entries and assisting with ensuring the timely and efficient completions of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close
- Assess the validity of the accruals submitted to Accounting and work with counterparts to address any issues or corrections identified
- Timely and accurate preparation and/or review of month-end variance analysis
- Timely preparation and/or review of account reconciliations
- Ensure direct reports timely and accurately complete their work
- Identify and capitalize on staff talents to make the team more effective
- Prioritize duties for staff and self to ensure smooth and efficient process
- Identify and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency, both for self and other areas of the Company that this position impacts
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate/coordinate with appropriate personnel
- Support process improvement and recommend changes for improvement in controls within a SOX controls framework
- Maintain accounting controls and recommend/document policies and procedures in accordance with SOX requirements
- Prepare supporting documentation for audit engagements
- Ensure integrity of results reported and maintain and protect confidentiality thereof
- Participate in initiatives, including new system implementations, updates and upgrades
- Assist with accounting projects as needed
- Attend Academy workshops and training to enhance professional leadership skills
- Duties may change and team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
