Will assist in the John Deere settlement procedure and equipment invoicing. As well as providing support to entire wholegoods accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support for settlement team as needed.
- Complete settlements with John Deere; including payoffs, floor plan, and payments to John Deere and post to the general ledger.
- Apply for and post discounts and bonuses due Hutson from Deere and others.
- Flag stock numbers in Equip with special programs, contract application numbers, and flat rate commission for reporting purposes.
- Create and send equipment invoices to customers.
- Check data to ensure accuracy of the final bill.
- Correct billing errors by issuing debit and credit memos.
- Ensure customer information details are kept up to date.
- Crosstrain as back-up to assist team members duties, as needed.
- Familiar with all business systems to efficiently research and resolve discrepancies and/or disputes timely and accurately.
- Support annual audit deliverables.
- Support management in the pursuit of corporate policies, plans, goals, and long-term objectives.

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of business system or data entry experience is required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to communicate with others.
- Ability to make decisions.
- Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
- Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure.
- A keen interest in the financial system.
- Numeracy and a strong aptitude for mathematics.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
