As an Accounting Specialist- Electronic Services & Balancing, you will be responsible for maintenance and balancing electronic accounting records to ensure accuracy of the General Ledger accounts.
Essential functions & Responsibilities:
- Daily balancing of EFT and credit card activity, checks receioved, billpayer as well as online payments and verifying debit orignations and payments.
- Maintain records of daily credit union activity, researches and resolved discrepancies.
- Balance other general ledgers as needed.
- Weekly review of AP invoices and wire transfers and scanning documents into database.
- Monthly balancing of investments- along with researcing discrepancies with brokers.
Position requirements: One to three years of similar accounting experience, a minimun of a two year degree in accounting or completion of specialized, certified coursework of similar natures. Strong 10-key skills as well. Hours worked would me Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
