We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting processes to include payroll experience. This hybrid role provides flexibility with in-office requirements for financial tasks while allowing remote work for other responsibilities.
Duties:
- Generate and oversee invoice processing for clients.
- Input and review payroll and timesheets for accuracy. Communicate effectively with employees to answer inquiries. Communicate and collaborate effectively with HR.
- Complete cash application and bank deposits
- Oversee collections to ensure timely payment from clients.
- Enter payables
- Conduct ad hoc reports to include special projects and initiatives
Experience:
- 1-2 years of Payroll experience
- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience to include A/P and A/R
- Proficiency in QuickBook Online & Desktop
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
