JOB SUMMARY:
Our Accounting Manager manages Accounting Department functions by providing guidance to Accounting team members, overseeing projects to completion, and working closely with our financial management team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead daily operation of Accounting team to meet department objectives set by Controller
- Delegate projects to Accounting team members and monitor progress to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely completion
- Provide guidance to Accounting team members on assigned tasks
- Analyze, produce, and assist with financial reports, closing processes, AP/AR, payroll, tax compliance, forecasting, account reconciliation, and GL activities
- Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful completion of CPA Exam
- 5+ years’ experience as in-house Corporate Accounting employee (not in Accounting Firm)
- Proven success in a leadership role
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive and proprietary information
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
