- The Group Financial Controlling team leads the Financial Controlling Function providing support to the three core businesses Retail, Centres, and Investments.
- To lead, steer, and support overall financial reporting that is beneficial to people & planet and protects and adds value to our assets, securing profitable growth and financial independence. By providing Accounting and reporting services, supporting a strong compliance framework, and effective governance to enable entrepreneurship and safeguard our people, customers, and businesses.

Job-specific key tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the team based on the global finance, organizational, and people development direction to secure the right competencies, performance, and succession.
- The Accounting & Finance Manager is responsible for all financial reporting in compliance with frameworks and local GAAP and other (local) applicable regulations/requirements and ensures the effectiveness of the internal control framework within the financial operations.
- Lead the team to achieve global standard frameworks and processes and efficiently deliver the right level of quality of accounting and reporting for business and compliance needs.
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with relevant external stakeholders and acting as a trustful and professional business partner with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization to support reaching overall goals and objectives.
- Lead cooperation with Group Financial Controlling (matrix) and Country organization to minimize deviations from standard global frameworks for local business needs and compliance reasons and secure effective ways of working.
- Participate in global projects and support local execution (as part of these projects) to simplify, harmonize, and automate financial operations and reporting
- Contribute ideas and insight to the business planning process from country, company, department, and matrix perspective and use as a basis for the team action plan.
- Secure close cooperation with Legal and Tax teams to ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements and enable an efficient and effective external audit process.
- Secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams
- Secure cross-organizational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance, and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach.
- Accounting & Finance Manager ensures a safe environment for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with policies

- Excellent knowledge of the measurement, processing, and communication of financial information regarding economic entities, which aims to document the organizations' resource management.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial reporting rules, standards, and manuals, along with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced knowledge of how to assess, analyze, and mitigate risks in a business environment.
- Excellent knowledge of how to plan, and measure financial records in compliance with internal and external regulations and ensuring value for money in reaching business objectives and long-term profitable growth.
- Good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics, and their wide-ranging application in a business context.
- Advanced knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools; and how to integrate them.
- Good knowledge of the customer needs demands, and expectations of the markets.

- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or a related field;
- 8 -12 years of increasingly responsible accounting and/or auditing experience in a similar or larger organization;
- 5+ years of managerial/team lead experience;
- Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (Local GAAP and GAAP), internal controls, financial reporting and tax laws;
- Demonstrated ability to perform a wide variety of high-level accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting;
- Experience in the use of automated accounting systems;
- Proficient in MS Office skills;
- Experience in a multicultural and multinational organization
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
- Proven skills in developing people and providing support, coaching, training, and career direction to others
