Our goal is to maximize our clients' revenue and profitability by creating or identifying new ways to sell products, streamlining the aggregation and analysis of data across all selling channels, and developing innovative solutions that enhance the customer shopping experience both in-person and online.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in New York City Metropolitan Area with flexibility to work remotely part of the time. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for basic bookkeeping tasks such as processing invoices, recording transactions, and collecting on AR. They will also be responsible for financial statement preparation and utilizing accounting software to manage accounts. This is an independent hourly contractor position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks
- Experience in basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Familiarity with financial statements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, though not required
- Experience in a similar role is preferred, though not required
