SUMMARY
Family Service League is seeking a part-time salaried Accounting Clerk who will be an integral part of the administrative staff in the Finance Department. The Accounting Clerk will report to the Controller and perform duties in support of all accounting, budgeting, claiming, and accounts payable functions in the department. Must be available for 3 weekdays. 21 hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Accounting Clerk will assemble backup required for accountants for the contract claiming process.
- Report daily on cash receipts to Controller and Billing Vendor.
- The Accounting Clerk will review, sort and scan department mail and invoices.
- Maintain and file records and associated documentation.
- The Accounting Clerk will maintain weekly deposit information on shared drive and Bank system.
- Track and reconcile remittances for major County programs.
- Assist Accounts Payable in mailing checks and requisition processing.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 6 months of related work experience required. Preferably in a non-profit environment.
Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel required.
