NuWest Group is seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk for a full-time remote position. The role would focus primarily with clients in the Travel Nursing Industry so experience in that area is a huge PLUS!

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain weekly payroll spreadsheets.
• Process payroll accurately and timely on a weekly basis.
• Audit pay through applicable payroll systems and spreadsheets.
• Responsibility of emails, phone calls, and ticketing system.
• Handle employees pay discrepancies professionally.
• Bill clients accurately utilizing internal software systems and/or MSP systems.
• Ability to reconcile billing across multiple systems and platforms.
• Effectively communicate and build relationships with clients.
• Manage collections to ensure clients stay within payment terms.
• Communicate with external customers on payment status and issues.
• Organize and resolve payment application variances.
• Meet and maintain KPI objectives.
• Remain flexible and adaptable in the workplace environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associates Degree or higher preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail is critical.

Compensation:

• $23.00-$25.00/hr.
