Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Play an essential role in the month-end close processes including preparing journal entries and supporting reconciliations
- Perform cash reconciliation functions as needed
- Participate in the A/P and A/R process, across multiple entities, including maintaining vendor and customer information, reviewing invoices, processing vendor payments and monitoring customer account balances
- Manage Daily Sales recording from POS systems to Quickbooks for retail stores
- Aid in the monthly analytics and accuracy of financial statements including reconciling, researching, and resolving discrepancies
- Work cross-functionally, particularly with our operations team, to prepare closing entries and to anticipate changes to processes
- Assist with local / state compliance requirements and filings
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting staff as required or assigned
Professional Requirements:
· AA or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance, preferred not required
· 1-2 year’s experience in accounting
· Organized and detail oriented
· Able to work independently
· Great communication skills
· Knowledge of QuickBooks Software is a plus
· Knowledge of ERP Software is a plus
· Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
· Cannabis experience is a plus
