Precision Signs.com®, Inc. is a leading company in the sign industry, committed to providing exceptional service and high-quality products. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team.
Position:
The Accounting Clerkwill have a pivotal role in our accounting department. In this role, you will handle various tasks including managing and maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and performing an array of clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:
Take charge of the collections process, diligently pursuing outstanding invoices, initiating collection efforts, and maintaining effective communication with clients to resolve payment issues.
Handle the entry of sales orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain, manage, and update AR/AP financial records, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Process invoices, ensuring they are correctly matched to purchase orders and entered into the system.
Manage customer and vendor Certificates of Insurance (COI) requests.
Prepare and mail checks, match them with corresponding invoices, and ensure accurate recording.
Collaborate with the team to resolve financial discrepancies.
Perform additional administrative duties, including filing, mailing, email correspondence, general assistance to offsite HR department related to new hire orientation, collecting paperwork and performing some clerical tasks and employee follow-ups.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in an accounting or clerical role (preferred)
Microsoft Excel, Word and Sage Business Works a plus!
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
