ABOUT YOUR ROLE

This position is responsible for performing all transactions related to recording and processing accounts payables, and accounts receivable, as well as supporting the monthly closing of the company general ledger.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

Accounts payable activities:

• Code, match and enter all incoming Accounts Payable invoices.  Research and reconcile all discrepancies of quantity, cost or authority level prior to entry
• Prepare Accounts Payable checks, match checks to supporting invoices and forward for signature then mail checks and file all other documents.
• Reconcile vendor statements to the Accounts Payable detail. 
• Prepare credit and debit notes as directed
• Record accounts payables in accordance to month-end cut-offs.
• Reconcile the A/P accounts to ensure all transactions are completely booked and  are balanced.
• Prepare various accounts breakdown and schedule

Accounts receivable activities:

• Prepare accounts receivable aging and highlight customers outside of company collection limits
• Prepare customer statements
• Prepare credit and debit notes as directed
• Applied cash receipt entries.
• Check various bank accounts transactions and bank balances daily.. Then, updating the bank books to monitor the cash flow.  
• Record accounts receivables in accordance to month-end cut-offs.
• Reconcile the A/R accounts to ensure all transactions are completely booked and  are balanced.
• Prepare various accounts breakdown and schedule

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• 0 - 2 years experience.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Good typing and data entry skills.
• Accurate math and analytical skills.
• Good organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Good auditing skills.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
