Accounting Clerk (Automotive Industry)

We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Department. Candidate must be able to multi-task and have a team work mentality. This job requires excellent organizational skills, due diligence and the ability to efficiently meet important deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have the ability to work in a cross-departmental collaborative environment.
• Processing and posting journal entries to accounting for vehicle exchanges.
• Ability to properly cut checks / receipt payments to proper GL accounts.
• Reconciliation of assigned GL accounts.
• Reconcile warranty and aftermarket warranties.
• Assists with accounts receivable, payable, and other special projects as needed.
• Respond to various dealerships and facilitate where needed.
• Reconciliation of assigned accounts.
• Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
• Track, count, and reconcile physical vehicle inventory - Monthly.
• Must take pride in their work, exhibit strong attention to detail, great prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
• Extremely organized and willing/open to learn new skills.
• Can handle pressure and deadlines.
• Contribute to team by assisting with other projects as needed.
• Must have a working knowledge of Excel.
• Maintains a professional appearance and organized work space.
• Reinforces company policies and adheres to all company standards.
• Complies to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Automotive experience is preferred.
